Alert description
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the high voltage interlock loop (HVIL) is not closed.
Potential impact
Contactors may not close.
Set condition
Any DI unit reports the HVIL status as missing or not closed.
Clear condition
All DI units report that the HVIL status is closed.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of DI_a020.
