Alert description
The Pedal Monitor (PM) detects that the measured high voltage interlock loop (HVIL) current is consistently an irrational value, which may affect PM functionality.
Potential impact
Vehicle functions that depend on PM HVIL statuses may be unavailable, or their performance may be affected. Other alerts may also be present as the high voltage (HV) battery contactors will be unable to close.
Set condition
The PM detects the measured HVIL current is consistently an irrational value for more than 60 seconds.
Clear condition
Clears when the PM no longer detects a consistent irrational HVIL current.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of PMR_a058.
