Alert description
VCRIGHT is not receiving valid data from the Aptiv OCS module, the module is uncalibrated, or the module has reported that it is not functioning properly.
Potential impact
VCRIGHT will report that the occupant classification is invalid. The Restraint Control Module (RCM) may prevent the passenger air bag from deploying.
Set condition
VCRIGHT does not receive valid data from the Aptiv OCS module for over 500ms while the OCS module is powered, the module does not report that calibration has completed successfully, or the module has indicated that it is not functioning properly.
Clear condition
VCRIGHT receives valid data from the Aptiv OCS module, the module reports that calibration has completed successfully, and the module does not report any error condition.
