Alert description
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) detects a lane departure event, sending an escalated Lane Departure Warning (LDW) alert for human intervention.
Potential impact
Visual and audible warning is issued to the driver to take control immediately to avoid the lane departure.
Set condition
Hands off the steering wheel detected and vehicle begins to depart lane.
Clear condition
The alert will clear automatically.
