DC charging is unavailable because the charge port (CP) electronic control unit (ECU) has detected that the high voltage (HV) back cover and/or charge port AC charging connector are not present on the back side of the charge port inlet.
Potential impact
DC charging will be unavailable.
Set condition
The CP ECU detects the HV back cover and/or charge port AC charging connector are not present.
Clear condition
The CP ECU detects the HV back cover and AC charging connector are present.

With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of CP_w163.
