The Fast Charge (FC) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) has exceeded the limit of retries attempting to handshake with Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE).
Potential impact
Charging session may not start.
Set condition
FC ECU was unable to successfully handshake with EVSE after three attempts.
Clear condition
Unplug charge handle.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of FC_w280.
