The vehicle gateway (GTW) has not received an expected state message from the Liftgate (LFT) electronic control unit (ECU) via the controller area network (CAN) within the required time period.
Potential impact
Gateway unable to monitor LFT state
Set condition
The GTW does not receive the state CAN message from LFT ECU at the expected frequency.
Clear condition
The GTW receives the state CAN message from LFT ECU as expected.
Check other alerts
With Service Mode Plus enabled, open Service Alerts → All. Review the other alerts for clues to the cause of GTW_w031.
