MCU1 (Tegra) vehicle connection guide

Variant 1

If you have an unlimited subscription, please use https://toolbox.tesla.com. You will be automatically authenticated with your account.

You will need a Windows computer and the Toolbox Proxy application installed.

Variant 2

If your subscription is limited certain vehicles (VINs):

Unlock diagnostic port

  • Remove the instrument cluster and connect a Fakra cable in place of the instrument cluster.
  • Set the computer’s IP address to 192.168.90.101
  • Ensure the key fob is nearby
  • Connect to the vehicle

If you need to execute routines that send CAN commands

  • Reconnect to the diagnostics port under the central screen
  • Set the computer’s IP address to 192.168.90.125
