What this task does

Restores the Drive Inverter Front (DIF) application data from the most recent backup on the car computer and configures the Usage ID after a DIF replacement. Run this routine only after a new compatible drive inverter is installed. After successfully completing, this procedure fails if run multiple times.

Communication checks

DIF CAN Communication

Checks the communication of the Front Drive Inverter (DIF) Electronic Control Unit (ECU). Communication is established through Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN). When communication is established, the test will succeed. If the test fails, inspect the wiring and confirm the ECU is powered.
