Steering Angle Offset Detection Test

Common/tasks/TEST-SELF_EPAS_X_STEERING-CENTER-OFFSET-SERVICE

What this task does

This routine checks if the wheel alignment has been disturbed after a suspension repair. Drive the vehicle on a straight road above 30kph/18mph. If the alignment has changed, the routine will indicate that a wheel alignment is required.

Task details for this hardware

Before running this routine, the Drive Rail needs to be on. Checks if the alignment has been disturbed significantly after suspension repairs. This routine does not confirm proper vehicle alignment. Use only to compare before and after suspension repairs. Drive the vehicle on a straight road at a speed greater than 30kph/18mph. This routine ends after enough datapoints are collected to evaluate alignment or if the steering angle exceeds 370 degrees.
